Green Slimer tips turning Purple??? PICS

So my green slimer which is healthy and growing as far as I can tell seems to have a purple tip? Could this be purple coralline and the tip is dead?

Maybe some kind of color morph? All the other tips are normal. No clue what to make of this I was under the impression green slimers were all green.

Looks like corraline

Thats what I was thinking too. Does that mean the tip is dead in that spot? I had a newer frag RTN on me yesterday and know I notice this and I am a little jumpy right now. Should I snip the tip off? Very confused I have never heard of corraline growing on an sps coral before. I would think for it to grow there the flesh would have to be gone?

I am new to this hobby though. Any help would be much appreciated.

BTW- About a month ago I added a BM triple doser for 2 part dosing and since the new stability of levels the coralline growth has really taken off big time.

I don't think it's coralline. For one it would show up that quickly on a coral that was just a day or two ago healthy and full fleshed.
For a slimer the PE looks poor. I think something is either nipping the coral or you have something off causing the coral stress. Just my humble 2 cents

It is really small so I could have missed it, I just "believe" the past day or two it may have happened. My PE has been really bad on like half my sps the past week or two and I can not figure it out.

I had a light malfunction and was without light for about 24 hours. Could this cause a loss of PE?

Have not really done anything different other than I allowed the calcium to drop about 30 ppm over the course of 3 days from 450 to 420 but the PE was not good before I did this. I think the calcium was precipitating so I let the cal drop and then restarted the doser at its normal rate. I thought the preicipation was messing with the corals and thats why the PE was bad.
