group buy of waratah anemones?

Aren't waratah's found only in Southern Australia and up into New Zealand, found in colder areas and love to eat fish?

Indeed they are. They are from tidepools in Australia. Fom souther Australia to be exaxt. I think you need a 52 degree tank to keep them.

Those looks exactly like the "rose" anemone they were selling at Lucky Goldfish last month.

i haven't ask for a discount yet. the group by (if enough people wants it) will split the shipping cost or potentially get free shipping for order over $200.

i think those are infact not tropical animal but people over in nano-reef.com seems to have fairly good track record with them. maybe they do accumulate to warm temperature. oh yes, they will eat fish just like any other anemone. :)

The guys at Nano-reef are keeping their tanks in the 60's. They also look to be fading health wise on the thread. If your not keeping a cool water tank, then these are not for you.

Rhaey, do you remember how much Hunter was selling them for?

LGF was selling it for $38.00

I probably would recommend against them if you are not able to provide for their ideal (0r close to ideal) environment. You could probably keep them in suboptimal conditions but they probably will not thrive and/or last very long, ie many yrs.
