Just a tip -
When you get your new Aquacontroller, check the telephone cord that goes between the controller and the DC-8. If it's the regular flattish cord, it's prone to interruptions from RF. Mine would turn lights and pumps off/on at random. A T-5 electronic ballast was the culprit.
Curt, owner of Neptune, sent me a twisted pair cord, and it solved the problem completely. I don't know if they'll start shipping units with this new cord. If not, I can probably scare up some wire and RJ-11's and bring my tool to the next meeting, and we can make cords to suit the length you want. (max 10 ft) Lemme know ahead of time, I've got to scrounge around the garage for these.
Neptune's customer service is awesome!
