No we haven't chosen a place yet but we have chose a grade. We are going to buy some very nice (not cheap but nice) rock, Most of my tank is base rock and cooked rock from my old tank and I would like to seed it with some crazy cool rock. If your looking to give your tank a Kick or a BAM get in on this order.
I was doing my research and narrowed it down to three (unless somebody found a differant site let us know)
1.
http://www.reefscience.com/
The owner is a member of reef central (smariner) Chad D. Bryant
The rock is 6.75 under 100lbs and 6.25 over, I forgot to ask how much the polyp rock was, but thats an option too. And shipping to our door was $94/ 50lbs (right around $2/lb) we could get it cheaper by picking it up at the airport
2.

I didn't get a quote on how much shipping would be here but over all its running around $2/ lb where ever I check. So there Coral Rock is $6/lb and the regular premium rock is $5/ lb. Nothing but raves about this place, great rock.
3.

This is the site I have heard the least about , but no bad reviews, they are also the only ones that make our order out of the states, close to its picking site. Again shipping would probably run around $2/lb.
Pricing is at the bottom of this...

I liked the very first one (or the second if we can get together more than one box) $3.10/lb and we can customise our box!
Heres one comparison, you can skip alot of the reading just keep an eye out for what they say about this place....

What do you say? Any new site ideas? Vote today! Or soon, take five minutes and see what you can find for a reliable place with nice rock.
the order would be put in on 9-22, or 9-29, depending on if everybody can get there money together by then. (should be good shipping weather then also) shipping would be the next mon-wed? not sure yet we will have to chose a place and give them our order (or an example) to get the details.
I know that these compare with LFS prices, but frankly the last couple of times Ive looked at rock in the stores, Im less than impressed, the only hitch hikers they carry are aitpasia. Im willing to spend a couple of bucks to get something nice!
