Growth Problem

I have had one of my colony of zoos in my tank since a started it. It has been up and running for about 6 months now. The zoos started with 6 polyps and now I only have 7. However, it is probably my healthiest patch and they always are out and eat a real lot. The other zoos in my tank are growing pretty well and some of my other corals are growing real nice.
I was wondering if anyone knew what the problem with this one patch is or maybe they are just clumsy.

I haven't seen a ton of growth on mine, until I added Vitamin C to my tank. They are all taking off like gangbusters now!

There are several hundred folks (minimally--maybe thousands!) using Vitamin C now on their tanks, after seeing the thread here on this. Check it out.

some zoa grow great some dont and it doesnt matter what you try to do they may not grow well. it just the way they are. i have some yellow polyps for more then year and they have only reproduced a couple times. i have some, not so nice looking, that went from 6 to 100 in a matter months.

my question is what type of zoa are they? do you know?
do you have a picture?
what kind of lighting are you keeping them under.

I can get some pics but they are just regular zoos, nothing special. I have some rarer ones that are growing way faster.
I was running my 10g nano under a dual satellite 130 watt but now I just downgraded to a 65 watt 50/50 last week.

And I did check out that thread and it's very interesting. I think I may try it.

Not true in my tank, since adding the C. Everything is growing! Even SPS that never grew anything before, are now sprouting brightly colored tips. Zoas that had waisted away to a piece of mat, are now colonies.
