WOW, the coral looks great!. But I am more shocked at how completely your rocks are purple! IS this just the lighting or are your rocks really that dark purple?

Is that the blueberry gorgonian? How much did you pay for it.
I got one in the other day, very good looking piece.

Yep that's the Blueberry and as far as my rocks go.....they are very purple but not as dark as they appear to be in those pics....I don't know anything about adjusting the camera for taking good photos of the tank yet so I'm guessing it's got alot to do with the camera settings.....but the rocks are completely purple but various shades tho.
Maybe this one is better

and just a quick note....it isn't even opened in any of the above pics ..they where taken only minutes after I placed it in the tank

Here are some pics of my gorgonians.

First is my blueberry. Not a very good pic, kind of hard to see because of the rock behind it.

Here is a blurry pic of my red octocoral

And last but certainly not least my aussie spider sponge. The white zoas on it are not open in the pic.

How long have you had the Spider Sponge? We have had one for about 8 months and have struggled hard to keep him, We have lost about a 1/3 of him over the past few months, but here is a current pic.

have new pics but haven't loaded to the puter yet...will post when I do
aahhh...got love it

I have had the Spider Sponge for 2 weeks now.

What are you ladies feeding your gorgs?
I have been feeding baby brine shrimp and reef Chili.

Have you tried to frag/prune your gorgs?

We are feeding sray -dried phyto and so far my sister's really like it...as far as mine, I really can't tell what it really likes yet but I'm also feeding cyclopeezes and I would assume it takes in some of the other stuff when I feed the fish and other corals, which consist of a homemade blend of stuff made by the lfs, oyster eggs DT's, mysis and articpods.....so I'm sure it's eating something.

Know nothing about fragging/prunning them yet but will be doing some research on it
Is yours eating the baby brine?

Don't know.
I just put the food in the water, I don't spot feed.
The red octo has grown a lot in the short time that I have had it.
Going by that its eating something, I guess.

Yes they can be fragged. I have fragged a couple over the yrs. Just cut a branch off then use a razor to cut the flesh off of the end you cut about 1/4" up the branch then glue. You have to trim the flesh before glueing because the flesh will die under the glue and could cause the hole frag to die. I Know you can frag the spider sponge cuz Ive seen them for sale as frags but not sure how they do those

sorry I don't take very good photos..the ones where it was fully opened are too blurred to mess with uploading but here are some with it partially opened
