Time to revamp the fish room. It was getting pretty cluttered and room was limited. First thing, to clean it up. Then get rid of the stock tank sump.

Before::hmm3:What a mess! And no room to work.

Had to upgrade the skimmer to an external. It was the only way I could make the 75 gallon sump fit my needs. Adiós ASM skimmer. Hello Reef Octopus.

The next phase will be moving the old frag tank out of it's current location and turning it into the new quarantine tank. Then placing a metal tank stand above the new sump and installing a new frag tank.

Thank you, my tank building friend.

Pics will follow once everything is installed and the cord mess is tended to.

Almost forgot. We had to take the old silicone seal out of the 75 gal. tank and reseal it in order to use it as a sump. Then install the baffles.

Here's the tank after the reseal. Should have taken some pics of it before. It wouldn't even hold water.

After the first set of baffles were siliconed in. Masking already removed.

And, after all the baffles were installed.

I think he already gave himself away. Ed does a great job when he builds one. The black silicone is like his signature around here. Lol

Just to clarify here, I offered clear silicone, and the response was...

"Well (rubs his gotee)...You already have the black loaded in the gun (chuckle chuckle)
