H. Mag, Day 3

Here is a pic of my new Mag on the morning of day 3 about 30 minutes after the lights came on. Purchased at a LFS. It is in a 20x20x12 tank that I had a couple of BTA's in. Took them out so that I could dedicate this tank to the Mag. It is sitting about 5 inches under the water line directly under a Kessil A150 that is 6 inches above that.

Very stable tank:

Nitrates -- 0
Salinity -- 1.026
Temp -- 81.5
PH -- 8.2

Thanks! I am having trouble being productive around the house now because I just want to watch it all day.

Just look at the video. I find that my Magnifica like more flow than what you have on your's. Good luck with him.

I do not want to change anything because I like where it is in the tank and it seems happy so far. Also, at the LFS it had climbed up the glass to a place with very low flow, so I think this one just does not like that much. There are places with high flow in the tank though, so it may move to it at some point.

I went ahead and moved a powerhead so that is flowing over the top of it. I will continue to monitor how it responds.

Been a couple of weeks, so I wanted to post a quick update. Had a 6 hour power outage this week due to the heat wave we just had in my area. During which the mag moved a few inches -- in search of flow no doubt. I also added a another ocellaris from another tank. They are getting along well and enjoying the mag: http://youtu.be/bzD_tF-Axv8
