H. Mag from website

Has anyone purchased a H. Mag off of a website? if so which website and how did it look when it arrived, and is it still alive? I want one for my 120 gal, but I have been unsuccessful in finding one locally. Also, I am looking for one on the smaller size as I would like to watch it grow and would be easier to treat if I have to give it an AB treatment.

Thanks!

Ask your LFS to order one for you. They're not rare by any means. It's just that most LFS typically don't order them unless someone wants one.

That said, Blue Zoo has them in stock right now. I've ordered gigs from them with mixed results.

I think it's better to see it in person with mags, you can inspect it and take it home via your own car.
Limits the shipping.

Yea I've been trying to get my LFS to order me one for 2 weeks now, but they've only had large ones on their lists.

In the wild they are quite large. I can honestly say I've never seen a small one - though I have seen tons that are in the 2' diameter range.

You got to have a little patient. If they agree to order for you just wait a bit until they do. MO Magnifica is iffy. If you MO make sure you order from reputable sources with good warranty, try Bluezooaquatic or LiveAquaria.
