H. Malu or Crispa for my Perc's

I gave up on a Ritteri and I would like to get either a Crispa or Malu for my Percs. I have had these nems before without any trouble.

I know it is hot or miss with hosting, but which of these two do you think my percs would take to. The Ritteri they hosted in of course.

They will take to either one. It is just what would you prefer, vs your tanks size and placement.
Malu will get up to 8 inches while crispas can get up to 2 feet in diameter.

Malu has become my fav too, sand dwellar, cool colors, max's at about 10" as opposed to Crispa at 2 feet!

Could the Malu be put on a rock as well? I would rather have it off the bottom.

How are these guys in terms of shipping and care? I assume easier than a Ritteri.

They are easier to care for than Magnifica.

One special factor about Malu is that they can spawn and have internal fertilization. They will release tiny fully formed babies. I got mine to spawned and fertilized but they released the baby at night and they got all chewed up by the filter system. I was about to try again then my tank cracked and lost my female. I just got another Malu from DD. Hope it is a she and can report about this again in the future

H. malu is good (if you can find them) because they stay small. H. crispa can get BIG.

Funny on the "if you can find them" comment, it took me about 4 months to finally get mine, and it's not like they are supposed to be rare.
I think if more people knew of their bright colors, smaller size, fairly easy care, and less chance of coral cruising they would be a lot more popular.
