I got a Crispa from DD last month...looked healthy as a bull when it arrived,good color, etc..the next morning it was puffed up an looking great...by the following afternoon it was the classic inflate/deflate syndrome going on,,,some of the "experts" on here said crispa's are more hardy than mags or gigs and therefore recommended AGAINST treating it... I watched it waste away and refuse food over a 10 day period...it never made it...So I say - TREAT no matter what.....

I never had much long term luck with crispas. They may do well for a few months up to a year but then they start to shrink and die on me.
So far the hardiest anemone I ever had is a purple gig that goes on 4 years now.
