well I don't know if it's good to keep reading this forum but it cost me 900 for a H&S 200x2 f2001 just order with Eric from finsreef.
I'm replace an ASM g4+ skimmer and hopefully I make the right desicion. I will post some picture when I recieve it.

I wondered that too and my 200x3 f2001 blew away my G-6. I think you will be happy.

yeah reefgreener I saw your post earlier and that's y I make my decision to puschase this skimmer. I don't want to deal with plumbing and worry about leak that's y I'm going with inside the sum model. I talked to Eric and he say it will perform as good as the recir model. This will be my last piece of equipment that I will purchase so make it worth while. I think with SPS tank you reallly need an efficient skimmer to keep the corals happy

How do I get darker skimmate with my A150 - F2001? The skimmate looks too watery. It seems to me that the bubbles are breaking no higher than half way uo the riser tuve in the collection cup. Maybe the foam is too wet though. How do i get drier foam? The air tube looks to be about half way open. Do I open up or close down the air tube to get drier foam? Also should I lower the water level in the skimmer?

lower the water level and the foam will get drier.But it will take a few days to get 1" or more.

Leave the air wide open just lower the water level in the skimmer either by adjusting the wedge pipe open more or reducing the feed flow.

yeah baby my h&s 2x200 f2001 will arrive this afternoon. It will go head to head with an ASM G4+. Hopefully I will not be disapointed.

Thanks Guys! I was not sure going either with a BK 300 external or having another H&S, but since i could get a good deal on a used but almost new, i bought a second H&S. Its also give me more option like one dry and one wet skimmate, each having their each overflow so i think having 2 H&S is better than 1 BK. Its overskimming, but i like it that way Its 2xA200 and not 250.

Well, thanks to UCanDoIt and her trustly friend Ed, I am officially a member of the H&S Skimmer Club! There are still a few A150's floating around btw if anyone is looking for one in stock somewhere. Just pm me I can give you a place to get one. I picked up the last A150 from her friend though and boy I cannot wait!

haha my sinking carrier....I convert from DSB to BB and the bottom is too bare so I put the carrier there so I can mount some frag on later. Plus it has some good memory for my family since we got rescued by a carrier when we fled Vietnam...
