Haddoni Carpet

For today it is, i just wanted to keep an eye on him for the day. I got to get a longer power cable to move it up front

Well, so much for thinking that it was the RBTA that was causing the issue, he's moved 3 times since I last posted in this thread and I have another thread showing what happened one of those 3 times with my mp40. Now he has moved again and to me he looks like he had another run in with the mp40 but i found him on my rock this morning with the mp40 foam guard stuck on him. Here are current pics:

Even my 2 clowns have abandoned him this time around and decided to go with my red carpet who has been sitting quiet during this whole thing...

I'm sad to say but he's just not happy in my tank, don't know whats bothering him but I have now arranged with another local reefer in my area to transfer him...so as soon as he gets off this rock, he will be heading elsewhere, and I hope he finds a better place. :sad1:

Is it normal for those 2 teeth like things to be sticking out of his mouth like that? He does that everytime he moves and gets caught in my mp40

All of the S. haddonis that I have ever kept (( been keeping them for 15+ years )) now, are super sensitive to flow -- the slightest change will cause them to move.

Have kept them in a 75, 65 and 58, and couldn't go higher than 60% on my MP10's (( 2 of them )). In addition, they were always be right at the rock/sand interface, with the foot buried under the rocks --- attached to the bottom glass.

Have you done any water changes since you removed the E. quadricolor? Have never been able to mix the 2 species.

Yes, I do 3 gallon water changes daily and its been 2 weeks since i removed the RBTA. Also changed out fresh carbon. The last place he was before this move, there is practically no flow and most of the day my mp40 is at 30%. So dont really know what his problem is.
