Haddoni vs Gigantea

I am looking to buy a nem, but I am not sure which type it is. It is a carpet that has blue spots under its oral disk but not on it's foot. I am leaning towards Gigantea but I am not sure.

Thanks,
Aaron

With blue spot on the column, it is a S. gigantea. Looks nice, but these anemones, S. gigantea, are very difficult to keep in aquarium.

OrionN,
Yea I know, But it is so beautiful!!! I may just keep it a BTA tank, but I would like a carpet again and this one is sooooo nice looking!!!!!

S. Gigantea, no doubt. good luck if you decide to get it. you have MH? what about your sand, how many inches deep is it?

and lighting? reason i asked about sand is Gig's often like to bury the foot in sand and then attach to something solid beneath.

I have a 250 w HQI, but the nem is already sold, Oh well I guess I will stay with BTA's.

Thanks for the input and comments,
Aaron

In my experiences, that is what Haddonis do. Gigs are more likely to be on top of a rock.
