Haddoni vs Percula-feeding problem

Got a haddoni 3wks ago and my percula clowns jumped right in. Problem is when I feed the haddoni the female clown tries to jerk the food out of the anemone's grasp. The anemone is about 5-6 inches diameter. I am currently feeding a small chunk of table shrimp soaked in Selcon and garlic every other day. Anemone is very sticky but the clown is strong and very persistent. I have to keep the feeding tongs in the tank and keep shooing the clown away til the anemone has ingested the food. The clowns are very well fed with Rod's food. Is this normal behavior?

Some do it, others don't. I would stop soaking the shrimp in garlic and see if that helps.

IMO, the only thing garlic does for fish is make the food more appealing to them, and any supposed "health benefits" that fish allegedly get from it would probably be lost on the anemone anyways.
