tough loss, I would have atleast said "OH Shhh(ucks)!" and prob stuck my hand in the tank or something. I admire your calm poise! Nice Nem.

Truth is I saw the fish was sick and was not coming back. I thought I would remove and flush but then decided the carpet could use a meal. So I sat and waited nearly 3 hours with a camera on stand by and when the fish got close to the nem I started shooting. Of course me geting close to the tank sent him into the carpet. But, he was going to be dead anyways.

Trust me if I could have saved a $100 fish I would have.

Why would you want your carpet to eat a fish that was sick? Well I guess they do in the ocean but I'd be afraid the anemone is gonna get a tummy ache. Maybe that sounded kind of stupid but I wouldn't want to be fed a sick fish. I agree that these videos are disturbing. : (

Its a dog eat dog world my friend.

I don't see what's so bad... This is what anemone's do.. They have to survive. Big fish eat little fish and so on.. Its nature not a horror film.

more "Wild Kingdom" than nature with him scaring the fish into the anemone, while holding the camera but........... if the fish was dying he probably would have ended up there anyway.
