Hair stuck in Tangs mouth

Hey everyone, as the title states I noticed that a hair was stuck in my tomini tangs mouth last night.. I have a rimless so clearly its impossible to keep 100% of debris out of the water column. I tried to catch him to see if I could pull it out but quickly realized that it was going to be a little harder than that without ripping my entire aquascape apart. So I guess my question is, is this a life threatening issue for the fish? he seemed to be grazing and eating just fine and it did not seem to bother him at all. but I'm concerned that if he swallows it, it would have ill effects on his digestive system?

any comments or possible solutions would help tremendously because I am at work worried sick about my fish.. If it comes down to it I will obviously tear apart my tank in order to save the fish. just wasn't sure if it was necessary. Thanks in advance for any suggestions/comments

i wouldnt try to catch him, i bet that stresses him more than the hair.

my dottybacks have new bristle worm hairs on their mouths from nightly fights i guess almost daily and that never bothered them in any way (they should know by now that a big bristle worm isnt food)

I'd ignore it. If it becomes convenient to catch him, rapidly lay him on his side and use a tweezers very-very-very gently, as it may have become entangled in delicate places---and give up if it resists removal, because you could really damage something. Ultimately it will probably digest or degrade or get passed on through.

thanks for your quick replies! it is a relief that it is not that big of a deal I will monitor and keep this thread updated... thanks again
