Hairline cracks in a new 9002

I purchased the 9002 model from a local pet shop and put it in the tank and noticed that the cup and the main unit had ALOT of hairline cracks like splits. I was going to be ok with that and just go with the flow. Then I noticed that the pump was making a whining noise and noticed that the temp was up in my nano cube by 4 degrees! I pulled it out and took it back to the pet shop, WELL at the pet shop they told me that they have stopped carring this brand and so I was stuck now. I would like to get this whole unit replaced. I just cant beleive that someone put this unit in a box, it is worse than a Fission that I own...and thats saying alot...someone from there get in touch with me...Please!?!

I sent a response to your email. Are you sure the body has cracks or are these just extrusion marks? Most of the bodies have some marks from the extrusion process? Please send it to me, my address is in the email.
