Hamilton 14,000K 400W

I bought 4 400W Hamilton MH from you a couple of weeks ago with 4 400W Icecap Electronic ballasts. One of the bulbs is a different colour than the other's. Much more of a yellow cast. The others are alll a crisp blue colour. What can we do about this?

Hi,

Thank you for shopping with us. I would first check to make sure that the glass nipple on the arc tube (inner glass envelope) is pointing up in the 10-o-clock to the 2-o-clock position. The orientation of that glass nipple will effect the coloration of the bulb. Next, I would switch the bulb to a different socket just to make sure that it is not the ballast causing the difference in color.
