Hamilton Cebu Lighting Dimmable?

Hey guys, I'm about to ditch my t5 for mh+t5. I really wanna give Hamilton Cebu a shot. My question is:

Is the t5 dimmable? I have a rkl controller. Is it possible to control the t5 and moonlight? thanks

In it's stock configuration no, you would have to replace the ballasts with dimmable T5 ballasts. It would be a mistake to do that, you gain nothing from dimming T5's and lose out on life expectancy of the bulbs and it does nothing for the corals.

Seems like Hamilton has dimmable ballast replacement and makes mh dimmable. Will contact to check out the product more closely

I agree with Jack here.
I have this fixture and with all the power cords, there are plenty of "steps" in lighting. 2 T5's, then 2 more T5's, then your MH bulbs. Opposite at night. Plus the moonlights.

Ok, I've kicked the ball :bounce1: My tank is full of frags and T5 really grows them slow or slower then I expect

I had very good growth from 10K mh
