Hamilton or Coralvue Reeflux?

I have the 400W Reeflux with actinic VHO suppliment. So far I love them. Coral growth and color seems fantastic.

DaddyJax - Cool pics, is that an electronic or magnetic ballast? Would there be any differences running on a magnetic one? I have VHO super actinics, so I think I'll stick with the 10k again maybe. How's the growth? I do see some new tips on your stonies!

NewSchool04 - I looked at those pics again, wow, in the 10k those blue are awesome! I think I like the 10k's better too. But both makes a nice combo too imo.

gary faulkner - I agree. I'm almost convinced. The only thing that bugs me still is that some people getting bulbs with pinkish hue.

PUGroyale - Were these the old bulbs with pinkish hue? Did you exchange them or keep them? Did you get an explanation of why it was pink?

KH971 - I agree with PUGroyale - Reefexotics is where I was going to get mine, I purchased a streams package from them before...good company.

RockyMtnReef - Coool, you have the same vho supplement I do...out of curiosity, I wonder, how blue are those 400w 20k reeflux?

I need to change my description. I am running the 10K Reeflux. They dont make a 20K, just 10K and 12K

The old ones had the pinkish hue. It wasn't too bad IMO and I'd switched from Hammy 14K's so I didn't know/think anything of it. The new bulbs are WHITE/blue... no yellow [like some other brands] or pink whatsoever
