Hang Em High?

I've got a AquaMedic 250x2 HQI/54x2 T5 Actinic fixture for my 100 gallon -- 19" deep.
I'm about to hand the lighting over the tank. How high above the tank/water do I hang the lights?

This will be of great help to me. Thanks -- or tanks!

About 8 inches or so works ok for me.

Anywher from 8 to 12 inches above the waters surface.
I have mine 12" from the water
