So for the Hanna dkh alkalinity checker the instructions say to fill reagent into the tip on the syringe to 1.0 ML, so obviously the 1.0ML is located at the bottom of the syringe, so where exactly is the bottom of the plunger of the syringe suppose to be at 0.1ML or the top black line not marked on the syringe above 0.1 ML????

The line that is not labeled is 0.0ml, and it is too this line that you must draw the plunger.

This will draw the full 1ml of reagent into the "tip". Then as you dispense the reagent, the markings will correctly indicate the amount of reagent you have dispensed into the glass vial.
