can any of you share the specs on those pics?? I am just starting out in the world of photography and would love some tips.
I know i should set focus to infinity, shutterspeed to bulb, use tripod...

Your right about the last part. You want the capture the fireworks without lightening the surroundings. So you want a low ISO, I used 100, and a high f-stop. I used f/8-f11 and I see jwedehase used f/22. I also darkened out the smoke puffs with lightroom.

So what happens if there is too much light in the surroundings? Is that just tough luck then? Or PP can fix that too??
