harassing clownfish

Bought a GBTA about 3 weeks ago and its been doing great. But then I added two true perculas one week ago and now one of the clownfish has found the anemone.

Problem is, the clownfish is harassing the anemone too much to where the anemone is balling up and not being able to open. I looked around the tank and also found green tips from the anemone that I think the clownfish ripped off.

What should I do?

Got any pics? How large is the anemone, and how large is the clown?

anemone is around 4" I believe and the clownfish is around 2"

He's moved since then to the crevise behind it...it was on some rubble i used when i first put him in...he's moved only once and has been happy there.

Your anemone is bleached, meaning it has expelled its zooxanthellae. It needs help to recover. Was it that color when you got it? Or has it lost color?

Foods soaked in selcon, prestine water will help. Your using T-5 on this tank? I'm not the best person to give an opinion on T-5, but it seems adequate to me. Maybe someone else will comment on the lighting. Is that its foot laying on the sand in between the two rocks?

Can you give us you water parameters, actual numbers, including salinity and temperature? How long has this tank been set up? What other livestock do you have?

Killing the clown will NOT solve this problem. This is a sick anemone, not caused by the clown.

he's not sick...he hasn't moved and he eats three times a week

but as I speak the clown is sleeping in the anemone tonight so maybe he's just getting used to it
