The can will tell you 24 hours but like Kreeger1 says 15 minutes will work. I try and wait an hour but sometimes you need to get the system up rolling again.
5 min here the dry time is for pressure but were not really putting any real pressure into our systems. I glue pipes for a living we let 120 psi sit for about 20 min before turning back on. My only concern with the tank is the glue getting into the water i would try and make sure you only use a thin layer
Gotta agree with everyone. The dry time is minimal. Like chuggy said, its high pressure applications that you have to be concerned about. I glued mine, hooked up everything and filled the tank. So probably 20-30 minutes before water was flowing.
@Kreeger I wish my clean up was a simple as scooping it out of water. My friend kicked over the can and spilled the whole thing on my carpet

i agree with serpentman the blue wet or dry is the best we use it exclusively at work. Dries really quick holds pressure great. Christies red hot is also a very good glue.
