So, tonight, I was moving the LR all to one side in the 300g at the resturaunt, and I found about 25 ball anemones! I never would have thought first of all that they would even be in there, that tanks is so void of life. Secondly I was amazed that they could have withstood the extremely high nitrates. I had heard people say that these little buggers were tough, but wow. I was also surprised to find oen rock had amphipods on it, running into the holes as I picked it up. I am amazed that these critters could survive the 500+++ nitrates for such a long period of time.
For anyone who doesnt know what a ball anemone is, it looks like this, and about the size of a dime or smaller. The ones I found tonight had white balls though:
