Harlequin shrimp food supply

I introduced a Harlequin shrimp to rid my tank of Asterina starfish. It's done a good job of knocking down the population, but there are still a few visible.

When should I think about supplementing the food supply.

I feed mine every week. I have read of people feeding much less, but I have never seen them in the wild without a star. The only time mine don't eat is when they are about to shed. Mine also have a preference for linkia stars, though if I don't give them a choice they are not picky.

what i usually do is buy a chocolate chip star. cut one legg off and feed em put the starr in the sump it will grow its leg back and waalaaa you have more food ... lol

my harlequins tend to eat any starr fish introduced to my tank... suxs.
