Has anyone been able to get a maroon clown to accept a carpet?

have read that they won't take, is it 100% no way. MY LFS has these awesome carpets and I might give it a try.

I have seen maroons in just about every type of anemone I can think of including both types of commonly available carpets and even condys.

That doesn't mean yours will accept the carpet, but some will.

I agree with Phender. Had a large carpet and a H. crispa with a pair of maroons. They used both.

My LFS had a green haddoni carpet with a maroon hosting it.
It was impressive as the Maroon was 6" & the carpet was about 18" across.

I have a pair of GSM & would love to get them a carpet, but those experiences of some non-natural hosts eating clowns concern me............although I don't remember reading any victims being maroons.
