LOL, nah. I'll let it split naturally. I kinda prefer the large size of it right now.

Believe it or not, one of the Sunbursts is splitting as I type this! I bought two, one for my friend and one for me and his is splitting in my tank! It's hard to tell from the pic but the base is definitely elongated and partially torn. It actually came torn in the bag so I suspected it was splitting in the bag. Pretty neat!

It's splitting because it's stressed out.

Glad I'm not the only one who's noticing the huge price jump on these guys. Just only about 2 years ago they were about $300 for a big one (at least 5" across). Now it's $400+ for little guys!

Also a food for thought to my fellow nem lovers. What's your opinion on lemon drops being sold around. Are they true lemon drops, or just sunbursts that morphed yellow? It doesn't make sense to me that they're being found so easily now since they were near impossible to find before.

The nems I had for a few weeks (these were the splits I previously mentioned) were under Kessils as well as Radions, and both held their color. I believe -- at least back then -- that they were two different morphs.

Yep, that would definitely pass as a Lemon Drop by today's standards. How long did it take to morph?

Well, for some reason, it hasn't fully split yet. I suppose it may take sometime as I am in no rush. I moved the other one down in my main tank and the colors are just insane!
