im about to order a float valve from Air water and ice. I was wondering if any of you guys have used it before? how good is it , and any bad experiances with it. would you recommend it?
I use it on my RODI storage tank. Works well for me so far (somewhere over 1 year of weekly fills) but it doesn't see salt water. I don't leave the house when I'm filling that container, just in case...

Try looking at the Kent Marine float valve first...I have both and perfer the Kent....no metal in the assembly........dont want to take any chances....got mine on ebay..for like 13-14 dollars
I've got the same one and it works great. As for the metal all you need to do is adjust the float so it stops the incoming water before it reaches the metal (I think it even mentions this in the instructions).

i have the one with a metal screw but i use it on my koi pond. it works amazingly well. i use the kent float valve on my fw top off tank but it leaks for some reason.
