so how everyone doing? how's everyone's tanks doing?

i've been watching all of my new acquisitions (been trading a lot lately) grow out.

With the exception of an overabundance of algae, my tanks are doing well. Color is looking good after a wave of browning and then finally re-coloring.

Because I enjoy feeding my corals (and subsequently have some low level nitrates and phosphates and hence algae) I'm probably going to have to get some sort of tang to mow it. I'm thinking Yellow Eye. Any comments?

Ken,

You might consider Vodka dosing pellets as well. They are designed to reduce nitrates and Phosphates. I've scene a slight reduction of sand algae. I'm getting to the point after 6 weeks I think i need to add some more pellets to the reactor.

Ken , You may have algae in that tank of yours but your corals are still amazing. BTW thats not a tank you have its what I would call a time machine ,you stand in front of it and wham its 2 hours later lol. keep up the good work and I'll be waiting for your next glass cleaning with frag plug and glue to steal a few more from you lol

Hey guys. It has been a rough few months for me. Tank was doing great until I built a kegerator for my sisters wedding (kept me from the last meeting) and decided my calcium reactor could go without a CO2 tank for a few days... Hello algae and burnt coral tips. Luckily, I got it back and the tank is on the up swing.

I also started as a sound engineer for local bands mostly my buddies in "Lesser Dog" and also a new movie production for another friend who produced a local parody on the wine business called "corked".

Anyway, Sept. 11th-13th I will be in Arcata running the sound board for the band. 18th another wedding for my cousin, and 28th camping...

Hope all is well with you guys. Hope you don't miss me too bad.

Check out some of their older stuff on this website. These were recorded a long time ago. They are punk and rock and roll mix. Their new stuff is really good.

You can also friend them on facebook to get the info on all the local shows. Next one is at quincy's on Sept.20th or so. We have to get 150 people to show so you should all show up for a good show....

Bob there are more about me that you don't know lol .... but last night I was on the floor hanging out by the marshpit in front of the stage and even caught a signed drum stick from Testament's drummer. it was an awesome night.

Owen, sure I'll check it out. Thanks

Lol I know but its too late to edit ... first time for everything you know :D :D you probably stand a better chance in that pit than I do because you are bigger
