I had a little red slime problem that I decided to get rid of and now I'm having trouble with my LPS. All other tank params are fine I just didn't want to wait for the slime to disappear.
I used the Chemipure Red Slime Remover-EXACTLY as the instructions directed. I used 1 level scoop since my tank only has 11 gallons of volume.
First off a torch frag I'd just got simply turned to MUSH and dissetigrated. Not that big of a deal since I had just got it and I understand some corals don't ship well. But now a trumpet I've had several months is covered in slime. I blew the slime off with a baster and I noticed what appearred to be white fluffy spots all over it's heads. It's also not extending it feeding tentacles at night either.
I've done a 2 gallon water change but nothing. The SPS,clam, favias and zoo's in the tank are fine.
Anyone else have trouble with using Red Slime Remover? Any ideas are appreciated. I'll get pics and post them up ASAP.
