hawaiian ogo and gracilaria same thing??

Is hawaiian ogo and gracilaria the same macroalgae or different?

If they are different, which one is thicker and hardier? (I want to use it as a hitching post for some dwarf seahorses.)

Any local sources in Southern CA (east LA County), I can buy some other than driving to the beach?

ogo is the hawaiian name for gracilaria However, there are quite a few varieties of gracilaria. All of which will make for good hitching posts
