Kinda of curious of what this could be, dont know If Its caused from stress or some type of disease. Did all my standard water test and nothing Is out of the norm. It Is eating It just seems to be shy or nervous, meaning It pretty much hides all day and only comes out In feeding. I did have a filefish that Is no longer In the tank do to me catching It one day really tormenting this tang, It was nipping at It like you wouldnt believe but that's over now. Any help Is appreciated, Thanks.

It actually looks like a secondary infection (prob bacterial) to me. I would suggest a good dipping in an antibiotic like ruby reef. Your tank is small enough though that you could treat the whole thing with either the ruby reef or melafix. Hope it helps!

Looks like a bacterial infection; you need to clean up the water with several moderate sized water changes. I would also recommend running an ample amount of activated carbon through a good flow. Hopefully you run an efficient skimmer and keep it clean for optimum performance.

Thats looks nasty to me ... severe bacterial/viral infection or even Uronema.

You want to Qt this fish ASAP so you can start a regiment of strong antibiotics (both the food and the water) ... nitrofurazone, neomycin, or kanamycin (double dose of maracyn 2 if you can't find anything else). As I recall Seachem sells a product called focus which will will help saturate your food with nitrofurazone.

You may want to post this thread over at the disease forum.

I started running carbon abot 3 weeks ago and seems thats when the problem started accuring. I run a CSS 220 and Its actually in a 90G. But thanks for all the advise, Ill probably do a antibiotic dip and see If that does the trick.
