Hey all,

I recently made a video of my 47g rimless aquarium. I haven't seen any other videos like it and I think anyone in the hobby will enjoy. Comments and feedback are welcome.

I can post more details about the system if anyone wants to know.

Thanks,

A.

great video! If i may ask what camera you are using? I am looking into getting a new camera for doing video that is rather high quality.

This camera is a Sony XD Cam Ex-1. However it has a 35mm lens system by Cinevate attached as well. Its probably pretty expensive for a hobby camera I use it for work as I own a video production company. However I would look into the new DSLR cameras with HD video. They are relatively cheap and the interchangeable lenses make the very versatile for a film look or just capturing raw video. Also the Panasonic HVX is a very good prosumer mid level camera.

Great video. What is the dimensions on the tank and what type of lighting?

Gary

30x30x12 and it has a 250w Metal halide pendant. The bulb is a Megachrome Blue 20k

Thanks everyone. Glad to get some good feedback. I will post more details on the system soon to get a better look. Also I have a blog that has a ton of details about the system prior to this one. (I recently upgraded)

Thanks again any other comments are welcome, and if you can don't forget to rate the video as well.

wow..very cool video.. modern and interesting. Love the song choice!

Yea the song does the trick.

what a great tank, proving that rimless is the best. Great dimensions too. Stunning.

I am just getting used to this rimless and I must say its awesome. Now when I look at aquariums with black plastic everywhere it doesn't look right. For anyone with a bit of extra cash looking to set up a new system. This is the way to go.

Awesome tank, but no offesnse that video made me dizzy! lol

Slooow the camera down.

Seriously beautiful tank, but it was hard to see exactly what was in it.
