when a tap water conditioner says removes heavy metals, does that mean it removes copper too?
is copper considered a heavy metal?

copper is a heavy metal, can't say if your filter will remove it or not though :)

so when a tap water condtioner, like prime, novaqua etc says on the bottle "removes heavy metals" or "detoxifies heavy metals"
then this is referring to copper as well?

you mentioned filter so you confused me lol

just adding a conditioner to tap water won't remove any heavy metals from it, it may bind them but it can't remove them. sorry for the confusion i was thinking a water filter conditioner that runs inline with the tap as some of those will remove heavy metals.

Yes, but it is not a design of the product, it just is something such chemicals do, although I do not think it has much merit if anyone had some real concerning levels.
