Hi Everyone,

I was directed over to this site from petstoreguy (sorry, I don't think I got your first name!) after speaking with him @ Pet Palace a few evenings ago. I was in the store, checking things out, as I've been wanting to setup another reef tank the last few weeks. I found out that my wife has purchased a 55 gallon tank and stand for christmas, and I've been allowed to assemble the stand (it's pretty cool).

Anyway, I used to be on here a long time ago, when I had a 2.5 gallon nano/pico/whatever reef tank that was suprising solid for a DIY cheap first reef tank. It was a happy tank, and I had great luck with it. I'm now going to try my hand with the 55 gallon, still working out all of the details (I have no idea where I'm going to store my sump, the stand will not hold it), but really looking forward to it.

Thanks again petstoreguy, hope to see all of you around!

You might also check out the MTRC forum. It gets a good bit more traffic than this one and is pretty close to you as well. In fact the anual MTRC/NTRC meeting was just held at John's house in Clarksville:)

Thanks for the welcome! Terrie and Terry, West actually gave me your number to contact. He actually wrote West on the paper, didn't make the association!

Thanks!

Call anytime. Come over anytime and bring your family. Have you heard about the frag swap Jan. 19 yet?

Terrie

Yes, West told me about it. After looking at the MTRC forum, and some of the posts about the swap, I will be making the trip. My tank won't be setup yet, and to be honest, I don't know what to expect, but it looks like I might be able to get some rock and/or sand.

See you there!
