Help! Aggressive hoster. BTA loved to death

Hello, I have a 2 inch ocellaris clownfish (Bobo) and she wants a host really bad. She has hosted my frogspan but its way to small for her. So I went out and got her a BTA. The BTA was about 3 inches. The anemone did really well found a nice place on a rock. She is very fond of mouthing the anemone tips. I ran into this problem with her and the frogspawn, I had to isolate the frogspawn because she was mouthing it and had a bad reaction where she couldn't close her mouth for a few days. This went on a few days with the BTA she wouldn't leave it be, Bobo ended up cutting a piece of the nems tentacles and it fell off after a day or two, after that the anemone stayed pretty bunched up until the point it just became so stressed and died. Do you think that maybe I should have gotten a bigger nem?

IMHO, that nem looks a little bleached, slightly unhealthy. The tentacles seem a bit short to me for a healthy BTA - weather or not they have bubbles. The main thing was the very light colored base and clear-ish tentacles. It may have been on its' way out already. Looks like it could have been nursed back to health though, so maybe the clown pushed it over the edge too. Next nem you get, if you can see into the middle of the nem, I'd pass on it. Sorry not much help as far as answers but JMO!

Ok thank you, yeah I'm new when it comes to buying anemones. I will make sure to look for one with a darker foot. the base was white when I got him.
