Help, anemone looking weird

Miguel, I think a BIG part of our problem is that we are seeing your nem with mostly lights out pictures, very few have any lighting on.

Lets try something different. Change the time schedule on your lights so when you get home and are taking update pictures for us your lights are still full on. If you only have to change the schedule by an hour fine, if not then two hours.

What kind of lights do you have again on here, and how old are they?

She's kinda hiding so is almost impossible to get a pic, this was this morning

Miguel, what's strange... oh so very strange is that your nem is missing it's tentacles. Otherwise I think it actually looks healthy, yeah I know strange statement for sure. But the one constant in all of the pictures is that there is a brittle starfish in each one in close proximity to the nem.

Do you have another tank you can setup for quarantine to put just the anemone in? I'd like to see what happens once you get it away from all of the brittle starfish. I really don't think your anemone is sick at all but being eaten after looking at all of these pictures. Maybe I'm way off track but don't think so. I honestly do think it's moving so much to get away from the brittle stars.

Mann am so freaking dumb u talking about the brittle star, seriously am so dumb I thought u talking about the tiny stars I forgot their names now, no I only have one brittle but I have seen about 4-5 of the tiny ones size of my pinky fingernail, am so sorry for the confusion lol

I'm talking about this very large tentacle like in this picture, the same has been in many pictures of your anemone.

Finding out about the starfish, I actually agree.....I think you should move to another tank. Then you can observe it without the threat of the star.

Miguel, That's the only thing that makes any sense, since it's in most of the pictures. Took me a while to catch it.

ive got 3 serpent stars in my tank ive never seen them bother either of my two BTAs but i do feed them pretty regularly and i am not sure what they would bother if they were starving.. i dont have any valuable input on this theory as ive not researched it enough to make a comment about the theory other than my own observations

I've got one, and an emerald brittle star....never had a problem either but it all depends on the animal....each one had its own personality.
