my anemone looks really bad. It has none of the tentacles showing at all. It is turned completely inward. I have attached a picture. anemone.jpg

What do I do?

Need more info. How old is the tank? Lighting? Water parameters? How long have you had the anemone?

125 gal. Anemone hosts 2 Ocellaris Clownfish. Had tank for 3 mos. Anemone transferred from previous 55 gal tank. Owned him about 4 months. on 7/09 added 7 new fish. All of them have died (I posted about it elsewhere). No ich or aggression present. pH at 8.1, salinity 1.024, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate all at 0. water temp is 79.1.

Lighting

2- 96 watt actinic (blue) bulbs included and 2- 96 10k bulbs included (384 watts)

16 watts of External blue moonlights included

I also have 2 14 inch strip LED blue lights

I am fairly new to, but one day when i wasnt able to come home for a day, the lights were on for over 24 hours, the anenome got really small.

i turned off the lights for 20 hours and started another 8 hour cycle and the anenome came right back out
