Hey. I have my mantis in a rock in the front of the tank. I put the rock in a bucket and poured some RO ( fresh) on him and left it for like 3 mim. Nothing. I put it back in. The rock he is in, is connected to another rock by an anenom, that is why I cannot let it be in RO water too long. Should I take it out andh hammer/chisle open the mantis rock to get him out? Should I keep trying the RO water dips? Should I focus on the anenome detaching more? Please hlep me so I can get him out tonight. Thanks

No, I want to get him out. I have him right where I want him. I just need to know if I should keep on going with RO dips or hammer/chisel time?

what we did @ my LFS when we got a mantis shipped unwanted and we didnt notice until later in our show tank. Took the rock that we knew he was in. Put it in a rubbermaid conatiner with a piece of krill on the other side and left it sittin there for a while. Checked on it periodically and we got him fairly easy.
