Help! Bicolor Dottyback got bit

Our bicolor dottyback has a large chunk taken out of the back of her. It must have happened last night, but we have no idea who would have done it to her as we have a relatively peaceful tank.

Can anyone suggest what we need to do? Or is it a lost cause :(

Photo link and attachment is included.

We've never had this happen before, so we figured we would just ask for advice.

Thanks in advance!

[welcome]

The fish might recover with some time if it is left alone, but if the aggression doesn't stop, I wouldn't expect it to survive. If it shows any signs of an infection, catching it and treating it in a hospital tank would be the best approach.

I've seen worse recover if the agression stops.

Well, Winnie the Pooh may not be guarding their tank either ;) But yeah, what over fish are in the tank? Any large hermits, crabs, uninvited crabs you may not know about, serpent stars? Is the fish eating (looks pretty healthy body wise outside wound).
