No pic. sory. Camera not uploading. I noticed my Acanthastrea Echinata started getting these small, white thin spaghetti looking worms, they are not worms though. It looks like a colud now over 50% of the coral. I can't blow it off with a turkey baster and it is spreading only on that coral, all others are fine. It was fine yesterday. What to do???? Thank you.

Slojmn, if so, is this o.k. to happen? I have never experienced this stuff/thing happening to my corals before.

If half the coral is involved I say it isnot a good sign, are there any predetors that might be bothering it?? It could have gotten bugged by something. A picture would be so helpful, any chance???

Today, the coral shed most of what was on it. Nothing was bothering it, day or night. Throughout the whole time the coral has been fine. This is bizzar to me.

When you said it shed most of it, did you see it floating off?
Or did it just dissapear?
If it just dissapeared, it might have been mesentery filaments as slojmn said.
I had thought that mesentery filaments only came out of the mouth of the polyps but they
seem to come out of any part of the flesh.

Yes, all looks good. I am trying to upload a photo as we speak. Also, prior to this happening, for about a month their was swelling under the flesh, but no metter what the colour was fine. No light changes either.

Well, I guess if it is all good then it is all good. Happy to hear it righted itself. Weird though, I don't really knwo what may have happened.
