HELP chalk bass jumped

Just found my chalk bass on teh floor, maaybe for 10-15min. He was dead as a rock, just placed him (held him) in front of my powerhead for 15 min, hes fins move and his try to breath, even saw some eye movement, but after a while i let him go now he is sittin at the bottom of the tnak, any suggestions?

I dont wanna loose this guy.

I found my cat playing with a clownfish on the floor. It was covered with lint with no signs of life. I held the fish in the water and it came to life. When I let the clownfish go it kept bouncing into things like it was blind. The next morning it was fine.

If you think it is necessary you can reduce the flow in the tank until the fish recovers.

Make one from plastic mesh and a screen frame. It is still open to the air, you can feed through it, yet keeps the fish in.

Did this on mine, had to double up the bird netting to make the holes smaller. Works like a charm.

I had a b&wclown jumped out one time before. I say he was out of water for a good 15mins or so. Luckily I was there and was able to put him back in and he recovered fine the next day. Of course two years later, he jumped out again and I wasn't around in time to save him. The bad thing is that it only took three more fishes to carpet surf before I finally caved in and installed some netting last night.
