help....does your clownfish hide

while gone for dinner my g/f and i came back to find one of our clowns missing....one is swimming around just fine....the other absolutely is MIA cant find him anywhere....not even a body anywhere. we looked very throughly with a flashlight and nothing.... it was totally dark when we left do they hide in the rock to sleep? any idea's...i looked in the fuge, carpet everything

ahhh checked the overflow....not in there either....im bafffled unless he's hiding in the rock....but the other one is swimming all over the place

As soon as the lights on my tank go out both of my clowns head for the back of the hob overflow where they stay for the rest of the night. once in a while i will see the female out swimming but the male always stays in hiding till the lights come on.

Do you have any predators in the tank that might have snatched it. Maybe a mantis or something?

all my fish hide. I only seem them at feeding time and then not all of them, one only comes out once every three days or so, have not figured him out yet.

Get yourself of frozen mysis and feed that, most fish will come out of hiding to get it. Also try cyclopeeze to entice them into the open. For some reason my fish go into a trance like state when eating cyclopeeze, ignoring most of what is going on around them.
