Anemone got him now... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362929835.944201.jpg

Do yourself a favor and ask questions before you make a purchase, your aquatic life and your wallet will thank you. The boards are here, utilize them. Everyone on here will be more than happy to help you make the right decision. Consider this in the future.

Did you happen to buy this fish in Manchester there is a store that tends to sell anything possible to anyone they can watching the owner say hippo tangs are great for nano tanks lol selling a couple a 15 gallon nano and a hippo and two clowns just research and read up on the fish before buying

Ps yes they bought fush the same day as buying the tank

I bought a complete set up 75 gallon that came with everything including 2 chillers for $400. I sold the 2 chillers and made my money back. I essentially got the rest of the stuff for free! Sucks the fox is dying though...

On the off chance he didn't die of stress or hunger, you might want to at the very least keep an eye on the other fish and at the first sign of trouble be ready to treat for Black ich.

Dammit now my other fish are acting up and showing same symptoms... And I know for a fact they were eating well...

Is this red velvet on the glass???

I can assure you your corals didn't bring anything in to your tank.. Have you tested your water? What are your params? Your tank is only a few months old right? What kind of equipment are you using?

Sorry for your losses. :(

Do you have a qt tank running? Did you treat for anything when the foxface started looking ill? Any spikes in your water parameters?

I'm quickly learning good tank management takes alot of time, money, and patience.....think you're missing a couple of those. My advise is to slow down. Enjoy the process more ........

If corals don't bring anything to the tanks then why quanrentine? I've had the tank for 3 months but the original owner had it for 2 years. I took all the water. Did not washed Rocks. I washed the sand. Tank was fine until I added corals.

I am just using 2 heaters 150w each. Hang on back skimmer cyclone 100 with maxi 1200. Marineland 16 white and 8 blue LEDs

Some people do quarantine to keep parasites and diseases out.. I, and many others don't quarantine without any trouble.. Are you using Rodi? What are your test params? This is a 30g tank right? Did you do any water change after the foxface died?

It looks like you have 7 fish in this 30g and a foxface that just died in it. My guess is your params are out of control.. Also, it looks like you have 6 clowns.. Clowns can be super aggressive fish especially in smaller territories.
