Help! Ich or somthing else?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I noticed that my two neon cleaner gobies had some white spots on them, but then I also noticed that one of them also had a larger brownish, tanish spot on his side. I removed both from the DT and now have them in QT. What is this? How do I treat them and what should I do to my DT to make sure this doesn't spread. I have various corals, snails, hermits, shrimp, other fish, etc. I have UV running so very suprised by this. Tank has been running since Aug. 1 and these fish have been in the tank and healthy for a month. 55g, 60lbs lr, live sand, canister filters (just cleaned a week ago), I do a weekly 10% water change. Temp. 80. Parameters tested this am:

SG: 1.023

Ph: 8.4

A: 0

Ni: 0

Na: 10

Alk: 3 meg/L

Mag: 1110

Ca: 410

THanks!!

I would leave them alone in the DT and hope they fight it off. Keep the water quality great in the DT by doing large water changes. Hopefully they fight it off then you can decide if you want to remove them to treat and leave the main tank fallow. Moving them while they are covered in crypt will only stress them out more killing them.

I already moved them to the QT before posting, they spent the night in the QT and are still alive. They don't look stressed. The QT has been cycled, running since Aug. so it is ok, but it's only 10G. Since it's only 10G, I can't fit everyone else in there. I could go out and get a 40G and put the other fish in the 40G and treat everyone? Maybe if I put some of my filter sponge from either the QT or DT into the filter of the new tank along with some bio spira, I would avoid a cycle? I did do a 10g water change on the 55g DT last night (was all the saltwater I had made up) and have another 5g of water being made today. Need to run more RODI tonight to make more salt water. Will garlic help? And if so, what product do I use?

In my opinion Garlic only works to stimulate the appetite. I have always used the Kent Garlic Extreme
