I have no idea what this is so i didnt know where to post it. I dont have a pick but it looks like a bright orange slug or worm and is only like 2 maybe 3 millimeters long. I dont even think my camera would be able to zoom in enough to make a difference on the pic.

Any info would help thanks.

Sea slugs are nudibranch. There are 3000 varieties. Look up nudibranch images. There are several orange ones. Does it have 2 raised dendrites on one end of the top surface and feathery gills on the opposite end of the top? If not it may be one of the colorful flatworms. They are specialized feeders. Do you have any orange sponges it could have been camouflaged on?

It did look like it had 2 raised dendrites but it was to small to see if it has gills. i havent seen it since that day.

Just to clarify: Nudibranch are sea slugs, and some sea slugs are nudibranch, but "sea slug" is not automatically the same as "nudibranch."

Is it perhaps a small bristleworm? they are rounded and I have seen them in many different shades of red, brown, purple, and orange. Sometimes they are vibrant looking and they are incredibly common. For what its worth I attached a pic.
