help identify spot on emperor

I was away from my tank for a couple days and when I got home, I noticed this sore on his face (near mouth). He's been doing great for almost 2 months now and still has a killer appetite. Is it a sore where he rubbed or hit something or maybe a hermit crab nipped at him or is it a skin disease? All my parameters are good.

I hope this pic helps. I had no idea how to decrease the pixels so I took a pic with my cell phone.

It's difficult to see in the picture. How long has this "sore" been present? I would continue to watch for any growth or other physical symptoms.

I've been out of town for a couple days. So it's probably been at least a day or so. I'm surprised my wife didn't catch it. I'll have to try to upload a better pic. It almost looks like its red and has a white dot in the middle. He seems to be doing fine.
